So.....I haven't written anything in awhile because I have been so busy! Cooper and Briar are both moving along in their training! They are both doing well on potty training and I am going to introduce the bell this week. Briar went to "kids club" yesterday with my sister Mckenzie. She was such a good girl. She slept on stage while all the kids sang songs. Next week it is Cooper's turn!

So this week has been super busy because I have been working at the restaurant everyday. But I can see a difference in the puppies behavior. They have learned to stay quite while in the kennel (our 10X10 Kennel out back). We set up a kiddy pool so they can get their feet wet if they want. They LOVE it especially Briar. Yesterday I got their new little Service Dog vests in the mail, so they tried them on! :)

Yesterday my mom, Marley, Dylan and I took Briar to get her vaccinations at the Milpitas Animal Shelter. Cooper also came along for the ride. Briar is so friendly she wants to say "HI" to everyone she sees! When it came time to get her shot she just sat there and acted like nothing happened! I love it! She is soooo confident....I haven't trained a dog this confident since Harper. I also weighed Briar and @ 12 weeks old she weighs 12 pounds. Cooper was an angel and just sat on Marley's lap the entire time. :)
When we got home we took some photos of the pups for our website. They were so cute!

Today Briar went to the beach and a cheer competition for the first time. She was such a good girl. She walked around in the beginning and when we went to lunch she slept under the table the entire time. She got really tired half was threw the day so I put her in a sling and carried her around like a baby. She slept in the sling for at least an hour. It was so cute! We went and sat on the beach for 2 hours and she was so good the entire time, she slept a little, played a little, and Marley and I worked on her commands. She did so good. Then on the way home she slept in Marley's lap all the way home and Marley slept too. ;)
So.....Training two dogs at the same time. I am going to blog all the differences I see between Briar, a parti chocolate and white multigenerational standard female goldendoodle, and Coooper, a cream multigenerational medium male goldendoodle. So far I see a lot of differences.
Their coats are completely different. Briar has curly more wiry hair. Cooper has soft, straight and fluffy hair. I like Cooper's better right now but we will see as it changes.
Yesterday when I took a shower I made both dogs lay outside of the shower door. Briar came in and went to sleep immediately. Cooper cried and scratched at the door the entire time. I have noticed already that Cooper is very calm when he is with people but the minute you leave him alone he screams. Briar is a little bit more independent. She is very smart and learned to stay quite in the crate, and that when I leave the room for a second that I will be back.
Cooper likes to eat everything he can get his little teeth on...he tries to eat and swallow items before you can take them away from him. Briar just likes to take large items to her bed.
